In this 10 minute embodied meditation technique, we’re using an object (like a tennis ball) to 1) explore our sense of presence; 2) give ourselves the potential to slow down if we’re feeling speedy, urgent, or like “we just have to move!” (but we really don’t want to; 3) find what it feels like in our bodies to make a choice around responding, rather than reacting; and 4) connect to our underlying sense of what our bodies and minds truly need in this moment.
